This is how we usually start our journey together. A detailed and thoughtful assessment can provide you with more information about your (or your loved one's) communication skills. Identifying areas of strength and need will help us to work together to develop goals that are meaningful and impactful.

Assessments are completed during one or more sessions, depending on the individual goals and needs of our client. We work closely with each client and their family to build therapy plans that are unique to their needs, and that they are excited about.

Intervention is how we help you achieve your communication goals. After we evaluate your communication needs and work together to set up your individualized therapy plan, we discuss the different ways that the communication professionals at Constellation Speech Therapy can support you. Your intervention plan may include one-on-one therapy sessions, parent/caregiver/partner training, education and information sharing and/or consultation. Each person we work with requires different services to feel supported, and we will work together to create a plan that you feel good about.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do here at Constellation Speech Therapy. Connecting and collaborating with other members of your team (e.g., doctors, school-based Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, dentists, daycare educators, teachers) can help everyone provide the best possible care. We can meet with these members of your support network to share information about your (or your child’s) intervention plan. We can also set up training sessions to support key team members, such as home care assistants and educators who want to learn to use the strategies that we use in therapy sessions.
